On the first day itself, the film managed to make two records. One, it became the highest opener for any film with debutantes in the lead and also the eight highest opener of this year. Raazi had proudly clinched that spot till now but Dhadak replaced it. The film will earn some more moolah on Sunday because it is riding on good word of mouth. Now it seems even overseas has lapped up the film.
Making a place in your hearts and a mark at the box-office, thank you for all the love!❤️

The source material of Dhadak, Sairat, was a massive success at the box office. The film was such a craze that theatres had to introduce additional shows at midnight and 3am to cope with the demand.
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, Dhadak is the story of two lovers, Parthavi Singh (Janhvi Kapoor) and Madhukar Bagla (Ishaan Khatter), who belong to different castes. All hell breaks loose when Parthavi’s family discovers their liaison, and the couple is forced to elope. But theirs is no fairytale romance, as the audience soon discovers.
